CASS/NCOA Validation

This step helps to map your data file to the required fields for CASS & NCOA. These two processes are required by the USPS to ensure accuracy and expediency in mail delivery when processing large mailings. CASS is the process of address standardization and ensuring that City, State and Zip Codes listed within your data file meet the delivery requirement of the USPS. NCOA is the process of checking your addresses against the National Change of Address database. If a recipient is found to be on the NCOA list, their address will be updated

1. Go through the list and ensure that each field are matched up with the relevant field in your data file
   • First -> Match to the First Name field in your data file
   • Last -> Match to the Last Name field in your data file
   • Continue through the remaining fields
2. Press the Validate Address button located below the mapped fields list
3. Press the Save List button
